Travels to Side
Side is a wonderful little town on the south coast of Turkey towards the Mediterranean, on the road between Antalya airport and Alanya. Quite close to Manavgat. The charming port city is located on a peninsula surrounded by lovely sandy beaches on each side and is one of Turkey's oldest cities with many historical ruins. A wonderful mix of the historic and many new beautiful hotels. The center of Side is described as the old town, which is car-free and here you can see listed buildings close to the shops and the small squares and restaurants. A wonderful mix of the modern resort and the ruins of the old town.
About Side
Here you will find plenty of opportunities for both adults and families with children. Whether you are for pure relaxation, water sports, cultural experiences or a trip to a bar or disco, Side is an obvious option. We have hotels without pension, with breakfast, with half board or with All inclusive. Be it the big hotels with all facilities or the very small and cozy place close to the old town. The opportunities for cultural experiences are certainly also present, both in Side but also if you take a trip to Antalya or Alanya or just to see the waterfall at Manavgat close to Side.
Beachlife
The beaches in Side are divided by the rock projection and the old town. Both the west and east beaches are lovely and you can calmly look forward to a cooling dip in the sunny climate. The west beach is the most child-friendly and the fine-grained sandy beach is a great playground for our little ones. Here, the promenade also extends with the restaurants, where you can get a nice refreshment or taste the delicious food. The eastern beach is closer to the old town and is a little more coarse-grained and the water deeper.
Nightlife
In the center of Side you will find bars as well as a few discos. The streets contain lots of cozy cafes and it is of course possible to shop in the city's shops and bazaars.
